If you have never lived in Finland, then you probably won't laugh while watching this commercial. Basically Salmiakki is a variety of liquorice that gets its name from the relatively large amount of sal ammoniac that it contains. Ammonium chloride has a spicy taste that vaguely resembles that of sodium chloride (table salt) with a hint of ammonia smell. In a nutshell it is just delicious... to most Finns and very rarely to foreigners.
